We encourage the use of stainless steel/aluminum/hot dipped galvanized boat lifts that have no metal parts in contact with the water. Lifts that are in the water are subject to electrolysis and salt water corrosion. In most cases metal parts that are in constant contact with a salt water environment only last about two years.
